JSA’s two core disciplines are compliance and customer service.


Compliance is at the heart of everything we do; it underpins all areas of our business.

Since 2011 our continuous commitment to only the highest standards of compliance has been evidenced by our membership of the Freelancer & Contractor Services Association (“FCSA”).  The FCSA is an independent industry association that was founded to set the standard for companies providing services to the freelance and contractor workforce in the UK.

The aims of the FCSA include:

  • To drive best practice in the sector and set the standard for professional compliance.
  • To reassure agencies and those engaging the services of freelancers that they are dealing with the most compliant service providers in the business, which means risk is minimised.

As a member of the FCSA, JSA abides by the FCSA code of conduct  ( Every year our processes, controls and documentation are subject to review by a “big 4” firm of accountants. The review files and findings are sent voluntarily to HMRC, an integral part of the review process.

Tax legislation and employment law are ever evolving which is why, in addition to the annual FCSA review, we regularly subject our business to scrutiny by leading experts in the sector such as BDO and Saffery Champness.

JSA is also an APSCo affiliate company and a Chartergates affiliate.

Customer Service

We understand the importance of delivering a first class customer experience and are motivated and empowered to go the extra mile to ensure an uncomplicated experience for the customers we engage with.

We realise the importance of our customers being able to get through to us quickly and as such, we are available between 08:00 – 20:00 on weekdays  and 09:00 – 12:00 on Saturday.

In September 2013 JSA was awarded the Customer Service Excellence Accreditation and we renewed this accreditation in September 2014.
